Varel Security focuses not only on private individuals but also serves businesses. To guarantee the quality of their services, more than 20,000 appointments are scheduled and confirmed for maintenance each year.

For a long time, appointments were confirmed manually. As a precaution, appointments were confirmed by telephone to ensure that they would go ahead. Varel Security knew that the process could be made more efficient and therefore called in extra help.

Together with Wild Goose, they considered the security of the application and compliance with GDPR guidelines. The application, developed with Java, Spring Boot and JavaScript, now automatically sends customers an email with a confirmation link. Thanks to this solution, they can easily indicate digitally whether an appointment will go ahead, which significantly simplifies the working method.
